Misys Vision® solution unifies operations at Illinois’ largest independent urology practice
RALEIGH, N.C. – May 16, 2007 – Misys Healthcare Systems, LLC, a market leader in healthcare IT, has completed the installation and deployment of a new enterprise practice management system for UroPartners LLC, a “super group” urology practice serving the greater Chicago area. The new Misys Vision system will serve as a unifying core to link the 11 geographically-separate group practices and 38 urologists that form UroPartners.
As a complement to the practice management system, UroPartners also added a variety of Payerpath® and Misys Fast Services to optimize their revenue cycle and claims management capabilities. The total project enables UroPartners to centralize critical healthcare business operations – such as patient scheduling, billing and accounts receivable, administrative reporting, and other tasks – while delivering improved productivity and efficiencies for the group and its individual practitioners.

Based on the performance improvements and success of the practice management deployment, UroPartners is now evaluating a centralized Misys EMR® solution as the next logical step.
