Eastern Connecticut Physician Hospital Organization Endorses Misys Technology, Providing Access to a Unique Group of Community-Minded Physicians
RALEIGH, N.C. – June 6, 2007 – Misys Healthcare, a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced that it has earned the endorsement of Eastern Connecticut Physician Hospital Organization (ECPHO). With the goal of connecting area physicians and hospitals and ultimately creating an interoperable community health information system, ECPHO chose to endorse Misys Tiger® and Misys EMR® as part of the PHO’s commitment to providing its members with an improved quality of healthcare services. ECPHO will provide Misys with access to its more than 80 medical practices, representing more than 350 physicians in the Eastern Connecticut region.
Approximately 15 percent of ECPHO members have installed or are installing Misys solutions.
