Industry Veteran to Bring Innovative Solutions to Home Health Agencies and the Communities They Serve
RALEIGH, N.C. – June 18, 2007 – Misys Healthcare Systems, LLC, a market leader in healthcare IT, announced today the appointment of Gary Larson as Business Manager of the Homecare business unit. Larson brings more than 17 years of healthcare management experience to this role leading all homecare operations at the Raleigh, NC-based organization.
In this position, Larson will report directly to Misys Healthcare System’s Executive Vice President and General Manager, Vern Davenport. He will focus on driving sales and maintaining a high level of customer service, helping to bring Misys’ innovative solutions to the home health, hospice and private duty markets. He will also determine strategy and continue to spearhead product development and enhancements as well as ensure regulatory guidelines are met.
Larson joins Misys from the Eastman Kodak Company where he was the General Manager and Program Director responsible for Kodak’s National Health Service Connecting for Health initiative in England. Larson also served as the President and CEO of Cemax-Icon, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Eastman Kodak Company, where he directed all strategic and operational aspects of the business.
