(November 14, 2007) – Misys Healthcare Systems (FTSE: MSY.L), a market leader in healthcare IT, today announced initial commitments for its Misys MyWay™ solution introduced on October 25.  On the first day, a new group of channel partners immediately signed up to carry the offering and made advanced bookings for 100 user subscriptions to address early physician adopters.

The Misys MyWay product delivers a simple, affordable, and complete way for physicians in smaller practices to capitalize on the benefits of EMR (electronic medical records), practice management, and claims management applications. Initially available as a hosted offering that allows medical practices to use the software application as a service, a Misys MyWay solution addresses three of the problems physicians cite most often as reasons for delaying EMR implementation: initial costs, IT complexity and usability. 

During the premier showing of Misys MyWay capabilities at the recent Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) show in Philadelphia, Pa., hundreds of physicians and practice administrators participated in demonstrations of the innovative product. They learned about the benefits offered by this integrated solution and witnessed some of the advantages EMR adoption can bring to their practices, including improved clinical efficiency and enhanced patient care.
